Celebrating Strong Dealer
Relationships

Caterpillar has long maintained a collaborative working relationship with our dealers, distributors and suppliers. Cat® dealers, in particular, share our passion, enhance our competitive edge and ensure that our customers receive maximum business value from our products and services.

We are proud to have longstanding dealer relationships around the world, including many that have endured for the better part of a century. St. Louis-based Fabick Cat, for example, recently celebrated 100 years in business, 97 of which have been as a Cat dealer. The family-owned business now spans five generations and has more than 1,200 employees. Meanwhile, Ferreyros, located in Peru, marked 95 years of business and 75 years with Cat in 2017. Caterpillar executives, including CEO Jim Umpleby, recently visited the facility to celebrate the milestone.

The dedication of our dealers has made our network the best in the world. We continue to strengthen the long-term relationships we have built through better prioritization, integrated planning and quality execution to create more value for our customers.

“Through our dealer network, Caterpillar combines the capabilities of a global technology and manufacturing leader with the close personal relationships—in local language and culture—with dealers and customers. This structure has made us what we are today, and it will carry us into the future.”
